It's not you, it's just not working out...

I have been trying new dishes for dinner. The thai steak? I will give it a B, I might try it again, with a better cut of meat.
The enchilada casserole was a complete flop. I feel bad, the kids were diligent enough to make it, Jeff and I were working in the yard, and they were very proud. I am grateful, but I am done trying new things for a while.
You just have so much invested in dinner time, you know? Then, to have some new punk come in and ruin the entire experience? I just cannot afford that emotionally. It's OK, maybe we could be friends?

Tomorrow is our 15th anniversary. Together, we are taking Cass to the Starlight theatre in Rockford. It's State Fair. She is going to love it! Nick passed on his invitation, but I think he would have loved the show, but not the dinner!!
We are going to have this:

Bulgogki

Lettuce Wraps

After that, I will go back to making the same ten things I always make.

You have such a large area so full of garden opportunities. I am sure your new trees will beautiful.
Sorry to hear that the Layered Chicken Enchilada Casserole
was a flop - it looked so delicious. I love to try new recipes (when I have the time) - usually during the winter.

    Thanks again for your help.
I am adding a link to your site so I don't forget to come back and see how the trees look.
