First Bloom 2011

This is the snow in my front yard at 7:00 am Wednesday morning.

The weight of the snow for months has devestated my wonderful lawn!! I will be amazed if it all comes back.
(the lawn and the snow!!)

YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT!!! My crocus are here!!

I don't remember what I planted here, but it's coming up!

Schatz and Gracie. Wondering why we are inside?? Schatz is a big help with Gracie. Guess who's easier to manage? I spent a year and a half in intensive training with Schatz, called Schutzhund. She is very obedient.
The little one???
Um....not so much....

Why my darling took this one, I don't know. But this is me. Painting. Ugh. I am not good at it and I don't like it. You see, I even have to tape the ceiling. Why the person with the worst eye sight in the family does the painting, I don't know. I finished the giant ledge, the hallway and Nick's bathroom.
It takes me so long. I need to get some pointers from a REAL painter, PATTY!!!
This is our fancy operation. My fabulous hubs bungy corded an upright vacuum to the ladder. Hey. It worked!!

:) LOVE your bungy contraption - and love that your hubster helps you get to where you need to be! Ingenious, the bungy cord idea - my hub would have had the silver duct tape out :)

Wow, okey, so year plus training for your Shepherd - gads.... she is a beautiful dog. That Leerburg talks about the misconception of small dogs, and how they often fly under the behavior radar.

Painting tips? Well I have for crap eyes too and tape everything - I hate base painting as well and 90% of the time field it off to painters I know - they do an awesome job of cutting in - of course without an inch of tape.

I didn't get a chance to look in my yard yet, to see whats popping... it was a lovely day here too - I took Bella for a roller blade when I got home from work- probably my crocuses up front...

just saw your grass photos again - and wondered, as our snow melts away and i see a huge burn out spot from Bella - are your dogs trained to go somewhere besides your lawn? Im bummed.... we always had luscious green grass....

Painting . . . lotta mess, lotta work, but so worth it! Kudos for taking it on!
