No Name Pork Chops for dinner.
That's their name. No Name. They are really good! I get them at ALDI. Did you know that ALDI is a Trader Joe's company?
We have always had ALDI in the North, but when we moved to Memphis, they didn't have one. They do now!!
I have only been to Trader Joe's one time. I loved it, but it's an hour away and it's not the kind of place I would do every day shopping at...!

Another basketball game, tonite. I hope this one goes better, for cryin' out loud!

Wish me luck. My friend runs the temp agency in town and she has three possiblities for me...!

  1. Trader Joe's owns Aldi's? That's quite interesting. I've been to the Trader Joe's stores in Lagrange & in Orland, as well as the ones in Seattle, because they're not found in Austin. We usually bring back a few special, hard-to-find items whenever we visit IL or WA, like the flat bananas.

  2. I've never heard of Trader Joe's but we do shop at Aldi's now and then. They're a little out of the way for us.

Hope the ref is good tonight and good luck with the temp agency!

  3. We don't have Trader Joe's here...I'm not sure if they have it anywhere in Canada or if it's just in the States. I love pork chops, though..with apple sauce!! Yummmm! Good luck at the game and wishing you good luck with the temp agency:-) Hugs xoxo

  4. You've reminded me that I used to be able to buy No Name steaks here but they disappeared from our grocery stores a couple of years ago. When I inquired, I was told they were available "online only" in Colorado. I never bothered to order them but I remember that they were so good!

I wish we had a Trader Joe's locally. When my brother-in-law visits me from California, his bags are always loaded with goodies from Trader Joe's! Maybe some day?

  5. Amazing, I have been wondering about Trader Joe's then I find your 'plug' for Aldi's. We have an Aldi's here in S'haven and have been there, so I'll ck out the 'no name' p. chops.
I hope the Temp. job doesn't tire you out. I'll talk to my Father for you.;o)
