I showed up this morning and couldn't get in....I had to switch over to the new blogger. It doesn't look new to me!
It's not the same template and all my links were gone...I have spent an hour (an hour!) trying to re enter all my blogger friend's links and that's not easy!!
I hope all you guys have your links in a notepad file, like I do, now!! Nick wants to do his shopping today and I will grocery shop for the big stuff. Yuck.
I have to find something to be grateful for, today.

Maybe now that we're all beta comments will work all of the time now! (Or maybe not. I'll try again and this will probably post twice! grrrrr)
ReplyDeleteSomething you may want to do is go into template, expand widgets (what the heck is a widget?)and copy all of your code to a word document. That helped me when I started trying to change things and didn't quite get it right. At least then I could restore to what I had before. I don't trust their save template button.

Yes, the conversion hasn't been easy for anyone, but I like my blogs better now with "new" blogger, just had to get over the little hurdles. I can do much more on my sidebar, like add pictures, etc.!
ReplyDeleteBiggest tip for anyone who hasn't converted... save a copy of your old templates HTML code so you can copy it back in pieces to "new blogger".
