So, I planted her a garden. Rosa colored annual vinca, Victoria Blue Salvia and Twist and Shout Hydrangeas. I planted these so she passes it on the way in and out of the house to the business shop where we work. She can also see it from her desk...
I also added some Red Fountain Grass, but didn't get a photo of it. Almost every day, she mentions it, telling me it is one of the best presents she's ever received!
Twist and Shout, close up
When I saw the title of this post I thought you'd gone and done something to your back again! Thank goodness it is only the name of an hydrangea. What a lovely present to give to your boss:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great present! (you are such a good employee). I hope you are feeling somewhat better now.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a thoughtful present and one I'm sure your boss has gotten a lot of enjoyment from. I've admired 'Twist and Shout' in the nurseries, but haven't added one to my garden yet. And you can't go wrong with 'Victoria Blue'--one of my favorite annuals!
ReplyDeleteLike Rosie, I thought your title meant you'd hurt your back even worse--glad to know that is not the case. I hope you're on the mend.
What a fabulous idea. And one that I'm sure the recipient has enjoyed every single day. A good lesson for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea for a gift for someone who has everything!
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific idea!
ReplyDeleteI think I've got some twist and shout and never knew what it was. Thanks for that! What a thoughtful gift.
