I purchased this magazine solely because this recipe was on the cover. Totally worth the $3.00. Try this one!!
I don't use wine or heavy cream unless I absolutely have to. I used 1% milk and some butter. I would not recommend doing that. I think the recipe suffered. I am forgetting to photograph what I have cooked, so I grabbed this screen shot.
I'm off to pack for my trip to the nursery!! I am sure the weather in Minn is sunny and warm. Right???

    that looks yummy! I've cooked with scallions but not leeks - wonder if they are similiar?
