I have been looking for a job for a little over a month. I have been on several interviews and have gotten all the jobs that are wrong for me!!
Today, I had a phone interview with a greenhouse manager that wants me to display, maintain, and service their plant products at a big box store chain in Northern Illinois....
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???!!!
All this time, my family has been telling me to hold on, something that I like will come around. I didn't believe, them, really. But this??!! This is incredible!! I am to have a face to face interview with the gentleman the first week of March. I am so excited!!
I have had to water my winter sowing containers, already, but the weather man says there is an ice storm coming...Oh, no!! I cannot believe we are going to take a step backwards. I am ready for spring.
This weekend is going to be a busy one for me. I have a tournament to work and supply the baked goods for all weekend. I have a Gardener's Workshop at Northern Illinois University on Saturday!! (YAY!!) and I have church and Cass has basketball work outs. Unless, of course, there is an ice storm.
Then, we are all sitting at home!! I am going to think positive thoughts and I am going to bake 8 dozen cupcakes and look for my crocus blooms!

Yeaaaaaaaaah for you:-) All the very best of luck with it!! It's looking very much like winter in my neck of the woods...very frigid temps of -8F and although it's sunny today we got quite a bit of snow yesterday!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the job interview! I pray it turns out to be exactly what you've been looking for!
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled for you that this job came along! I'll be sending "good vibes" your way for the interview.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard how you made out with this weekends storm - I'm hoping you got snow rather than ice. As much as I hate snow it's always better than ice.
I'm also crossing my fingers for you, Sissy. This sounds perfect for you! Is it a Home D* store?
