So, Jeff tells me he has to be in Massachusetts March 17-25. And I get to thinking, what will he be missing? What important date is that? I know I just was looking at something I wanted to do in that week.
Then, it hit me.
The New England Flower Show is that week.
Then, it hit me again.
Isn't Massachusetts in New England? Of course it is! So, it is my plan to go with him on his trip. I can be at the Flower show during the day while he is at his meetings. I don't mind being alone. Very few of my friends have ever been "gardeners", so I have always gone on workshops and garden tours all by myself. I don't care! I talk to everyone and anyone..!
When I mentioned this to him, he looked at me with surprise and he hasn't mentioned it since. That's ok, I have a few weeks to wear him down!!

  1. Oh, what a wonderful experience that would be! Is he going to Boston?
I go to a lot things alone, too. I actually enjoy it. It never stops me if I don't have a companion.
I hope you get to go and take zillions of pics to show us.

  2. Lucky woman! Sissy - get a T-shirt made with "Got Serenity" and your blog address on it to wear at the flower show ... wouldn't it be cool if one of your readers came up to say hello??

  3. I used to love to travel with my husband when he had a business trip. I could do whatever I wanted during the day and we could check out the sights together in the evenings. No kids and the company picked up the hotel cost.

    I like Annie's idea!
