Perennial Passion: Pumpkin Cake Roll

Perennial Passion: Pumpkin Cake Roll
Zoey has inspired me to try a little baking, today. She made this pumpkin roll, but I don't like pumpkin, really. The kids do, but you know kids, once you start buying for them, they stop eating what they used to like!! (four boxes of the "gotta have that kind" cereal went to the birds, last week!)

I might try this: Melt in Your Mouth Banana Bread
I am always a little leery of trying new recipes, right off the web, but this one has be reviewed by over 100 people. I havve two spotty bananas sitting on the counter and Jeff would be so surprised if I baked this.
Nothing fancy like a roll, but homemade, just the same!
Have a sore throat, today, but I have to do the grocery shopping. Ugh

  1. So did you make the banana bread?

I don't think you would have any problem with a rolled cake, Sissy. You seem to be a very talented cook.

Now you and Zoey are both making
    my mouth water for something
    sweet from the oven.
    I still haven't made those
pumpkin cookies. I am afraid I will eat the whole thing!

  4. Zoey just goes and goes, just like the Energizer Bunny, doesn't she? I wish I had her energy :) That sound scrumptious.
I have a really nice banana bread recipe too that I modified to make it more moist. I might try this one. Sounds good. I'm like you, I don't love b bread, but my hubby loves it. I'll eat a little of it though, especially when it's very fresh. Then it's yummy!
Pumkin bread I love! I have a pumpkin cheesecake recipe that's wonderful!
