Nothing gets by this one. She's right on anything that might fall to the floor!!
Turned this pile of kale into a wonderful healthy
phase 1 soup!
Another winner! Italian Sausage and Bean Soup with Chard
I didn't have chard, I had kale, so I used that, but this is a great recipe, quick and filling.
Today was Day 5 of Phase 1, still no cheating. I have discovered that I miss the texture of a crunch cracker. You just don't get that in veggies. Or meat.
If your meat is crunchy like crackers, you may be doing it wrong....!
That soup does look good and of course that is just like a Yorkie to wait for an accident to happen with food. :) Cute photo.

Awww, what a cutie she is. Maybe I need one of those so I won't have to wash the floors so often. :)
ReplyDeleteThat soup looks good. I just got home from work and I am starving!
Yes, I do have a cooking buddy..in the form of a cat named Harley, who every time he hears the kitchen drawer open and can opener , he is at my feet, like lightening thinking all things canned must be "TUNA"!
ReplyDeleteHarley, also love spaghetti night..he loves him some sauce...not even joking...:)
The soup looks yummy!!!
~~HUGS~~
Oh my, that soup does look delicious!! Kale is something I've never tasted before, believe it or not. I wish I had a cute helper in the kitchen like that:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow, just stopped by your blog for the first time. It's gorgeous! I'm going to backtrack for a long time, I'm sure. Love your Yorkie pic. I've had two of those darling dogs and they are indeed precious, and amazingly daring too. My Sweetie faced down a pygmy rattle snake...nothing intimidated her except heights. And your soup looks great. We love soups around here, but I almost always forget to take pictures until the bowls are empty. Thanks so much for stopping by and joining my group. You're much appreciated already! Have a gorgeous weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have two cooking buddies! Sophie especially likes it when grandson (who's 4) comes to visit: she sits right next to him while he's eating, and I never have to worry about crumbs on the floor:)
