Thank you to all the friends who have asked about me. We did not have any water in the house, thank God!!! Some of our friends did suffer water damage and the experts estimate 30% of Chicago's mature trees are down.

I'm catching up on your blog! Glad to hear you didn't get an water, we were lucky too, but we saw a lot of generators out emptying out basements in the area. And it took me 4 hours to get home with public transportation!
